|10:42 am - Dishwasher as Shampoo|
Did you know dishwasher works as a stand-in for shampoo? I ran out of shampoo in the dorm and I noticed that just the conditioner wasn't cleaning my hair enough (which makes sense since conditioner's meant to just protect the hair while the shampoo actually cleans off the oil and stuff). When I washed with just the conditioner, my hair still felt kind of oily when it dried. So I figured hey, dishwasher is suppose to wash off grease and oil from dishes right? So why not my hair? So I used my dishwasher as shampoo, and it worked XDD My hair's not oily anymore lol. Don't know if there's any major side effects in the long-run, but if anyone else has a shampoo-shortage emergency, grab that dishwasher!

Don't worry I've done it before too,and there are no repercussions for doing so.I think it actually works better than shampoo!-James
Yeah I'm beginning to think that too. Usually the day after I wash my hair it's all sticking up and poofy because it's so slippery and there's no oil to weigh it down, but it's not doing that this time O_o
never thought that would work but you learn new things every day ^_______^
Lol, desperate situations require desperate measures, and trust me, there's not many people quite as desperate as a student with a limited budget (of which she has already gone way over already ~_~)
true true true
but thanks for the tip darls XD

too bad my dishwasher soap is in little pellets.
other than that i don't know if it's that effective since i use shampoo that's "for colour or permed damaged hair"
but i always run out of conditioner first, so that's not a problem
yah university..........never thought the day will come where i think shampoo as being a priveledge.
eh...i don't think pellets will work XD
