|06:30 pm - Conservative Minority|
So, it looks like we ended up with a Conservative Minority, this is the first time in how many years?!??!?! Though I can't say I'm too surprised. Well either way, I still love my Canada so as long as Harper doesn't decide to have a field day changing the way things are done then I'm good.
This weekend (Sunday) is Chinese New Year, year of the dog!! SHIGURE!!!! Lol. At first I was planning on staying in since there's not really much I can do anyway, but then a friend I'd met this new semester asked me to go to China town with her (she's Chinese too even though she was born in Canada). I asked her why she's not spending it with her family since they all live in Ottawa, but she said that she's spending it early with them throughout the week (ie. a dinner at an aunt's for a night, a party at her grandma's another day, etc.). I think she felt sorry for me since I told her all my family's in China still and my mom's not gonna drive 6 hours to visit for one day .
PS. Yes I'm playing with emoticons, yes this post was made just so I can test out the emoticons, if you figured that out with just one glance then to you!!
