09:36 pm - Hand-squeezed lemon juice ok for lemonade?
Does anyone know if it's ok to use fresh-squeezed lemon juice to make lemonade?  I hand squeezed some lemon juice today, added it to water and then dumped in some sugar to see how it'd taste and though the somewhat acidic taste of the lemon was still lingering it wasn't that bad, but then my tummy started feeling a little off.  I wasn't sure if it was the lemon being too acidic to just drink the juice like that or if it was something else.  Anyone have any experience making fresh-squeezed lemonade?

Certainly it's okay, tastier than from a bottle of lemon juice too. Sure it wasn't too strong? Some people's stomachs are pretty sensitive to lemonade and lemon water, but if you haven't had problems before, seems odd you would have problems now.

I'll try putting a little less lemon juice (I used a whole lemon and mixed the juice with one of those 1L bottle of water) and see if that helps :3

Ah, ok, I'll try putting a little less lemon juice, maybe my tummy was just having a bad day :3

Others have said this by now, but just want to add that I've made the same twice this summer already and it's perfectly okay. Maybe just bad water or sensitive stomach?
