[Hamilton]Lafayette

TO ALL CANADIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS!!! Do you know about Feb 7TH?

Because you all should!

It's a NATIONAL STUDENT DAY OF PROTEST: to make post secondary education available to everyone by lowering and freezing tuition fees!

In the Capital region, students from uOttawa, uCarleton, Algonquin, and La Cite Collegiale will be meeting at 11am in front of uOttawa Morriset Library and later on to the Parliament to protest.  At 7am people will be meeting at the uOttawa Uni Center in the couches area for breakfast and picketing plans.

Obviously there's no need to tell you why you should come, it's for your own good! Not only for us of this generation, but for everyone who plans to have a post secondary education in the future as well, think of your children and grandchildren!

PLEASE SHOW UP WITH AS MANY FRIENDS AS YOU CAN GET TO HELP AND GIVE SUPPORT!  And if you're a student of a university outside the Ottawa area, get involved at your university too!  This protest will spread across Canada from every college and university to let the government know that we are fed up!

Remember, there's academic amnesty that day, so no penalty for missing classes!!

It's time for us to speak up and taking action!
