02:03 am - Long time no update...
Long time no update, mostly because nothing's been happening too much.  How's everyone's summer going?  Summer doesn't feel like summer anymore, I miss the old summers of laying around and watching television without a care in the world.  I think I say this every year when summer rolls around, but it's true.  I remember back then ytv had all kids shows all morning and I'd just sit and watch all of it.  Flipper, Lassie, Babar, Arthur, Lamb Chops, Papa Beaver, Barney, Once Upon a Hamster, Sailor Moon, Rupert...the good ol' days where kids didn't worship a stupid underwater sponge with an annoying voice that taught no morals and didn't help to prepare kids to become productive, benevolent members of society in the future.  For those that don't know, the cartoon's called Spongebob Square Pants, a quick google should give you an idea of what the show is like.  I think one time I saw a movie or an episode of it with a friend for her b-day and for about an hour we watched this scratchy-voiced sponge chase a pickle =.=

Well, anyway, anyone with any exciting plans for this summer?  Travels abroad?  Exciting new adventures?  Exotic getaways? :)

I've never watched Spongebob and from what i hear, i havent missed much. So i might like to continue skipping this part of the tv program. But then, i rarely watch anything else but the news on tv, which is a wise thing i presume.

If we're to talk ab't good cartoon movies, i'd have to say i prefer Dexter's Lab. It gave me a good laugh and taught me many things (i think).

As for my "summer", i'm in the southern hemisphere and we're having an autumn here (winter is coming). Which is nothing like a "real" winter anyway; but its exciting to keep hoping that i could take a weekend in the mountains, and probably even go skiing on one occasions or two :)

Nope, you didn't miss much at all.

So then, if it's actually winter down south, do the schools over there then have "summer" vacation in like...December and January? Or do they still have it in June/July time except maybe call it "winter" vacation??

They have both, only the summer vacation is longer and could also be called Christmas vacation :)
