Also, remember that post I made awhile ago about WinRAR not extracting things right? How it kept saying the files were corrupted? Yeah well I think I found the problem. It turns out it wasn't WinRAR that was having problems, it was the download program I was using to download the WinRAR files. I use this download accelerator program called....Internet Download Manager (IDM), usually it works great. Files that take an hour using Firefox's default download takes like, 30 minutes with IDM and you can resume most downloads if the connection gets lost or something. Today, however, I downloaded a WinRAR file using Internet Explorer's default download (Firefox wouldn't work for some reason) and then I downloaded that same file using IDM and guess what? The file I downloaded using IE extracted everything fine but the one I downloaded using IDM said all the files in the compressed WinRAR file was corrupt and wouldn't extract any.
Haha, problem solved! So it'll take a little longer using the default method, at least it works XD Now I just have to go back and re-download some WinRAR files that I used IDM for...hope I can remember where I got them from originally so I can find them again :/ Ah I feel so much better now that that mystery's solved, I hate leaving things unsolved...admitting defeat's not a strong point for me lol.
