|03:35 pm - Daylight saving time.|
Thanks to cavechan for making me take note of this. Apparently, in 2005, Bush signed a bill that took affect this year (2007) to switch daylight saving time from the first Sunday of April --> last Sunday of October to the second Sunday of March --> first Sunday of November (so overall we get about 4 extra weeks of daylight saving time). Not surprisingly most of Canada has followed suit in order to avoid travel and trade headaches. So, just a heads up to anyone noticing anything going wonky with their computers or other digital devices, double-check the time~

Yeah...b/c last week was supposed to be the end of daylight savings time ("fall back" lol) my pc & other electronic crap change time & I've been thrown off (ie. late) for most of the week. I was happy about the extra hour of sleep, but since montreal is more east than Ontario the sun comes out earlier, demeaning the whole point of getting the extra sleep! Hope you got some rest!-James
Really? So it messed you up for a whole week eh? XDD That sucks, I wouldn't have even noticed unless cavechan made a post about it, and good thing she did too, my cell phone doesn't automatically set for daylight savings time (I had to turn it off then back on for the time to get reset) and since I use my cell phone for time when I'm at school...ehehe...I can forsee some disasters with that one.

Re: need help :(
Hmm...an international relations research topic...lessee...how about something to do with Canada and the mission in Afghanistan? Maybe something along the lines of "Should Canada pursue a more diplomatic route or maintain our current military strategy in dealing with Afghanistan?" or "How does/has Canada's involvement in Afghanistan affect(ed) its reputation on the international stage?". I don't know if your prof's looking for case studies specifically or if he/she's looking for more theoretical research topics. Maybe "Is the current international relations field in a state of anarchy?" for a more theoretical question?
Let me know if that's not exactly what you're looking for~
ah da... DDD:
did you guys lose an hour?
Yep, we're suppose to set our clocks back at like, 2 in the morning or something so the grow-ups are always like "oh we get an extra hour of sleep" but freak i never hauled my ass out of bed at that hour just to reset the clock, so i always ended up with an extra hour in the afternoon XD
ah I see I see :o
Personally I don't see the difference ^^;; Time feels the same to me. .__.;
For us, we lost an hour. (we had to change it around the 28th of October?) easily understandable since we are reaching summer so it doesn't make much difference ^^
but four times a year *whistles* such a hassle D:
