|09:20 pm - 2 more days of freedom~|
I think I caught a cold...my throat was sore a few days back and now my nose is stuffy >__< Ah well, hope I get better before classes start. I went to chinatown today and bought 2 bags of fortune cookies because I suddenly had a craving for them....so now I've got like, 20 fortunes sitting on my desk <___< One of my friends told me an interesting little note about fortune cookies, when you read them, add the words "in bed" to the end of them XDD On Saturday I went to eat at a Chinese restaurants with said friend and we each got a fortune cookie after the meal. Mine was "Use your eloquence where it will do the most good" and I was like "...so...in bed?" XDDD
Speaking of chinatown and food, platinum_ice if you happen to read this post, are you free on Wednesday for dinner? There's a restaurants in chinatown that sells Peking duck and I've been wanting to go soooooooooooo~ bad. I have to call a day in advance to let them know if we're going to order the Peking duck dish, so if you read this let me know sometime tomorrow (Tuesday) if you can/want to go with me~ It can be like, the last celebratory dinner before we get sucked into the crazy, insane vortex of university again lol.
Current Mood: blah
Awe I want to go out for dinner lol...Yeah I have no life... Anyway, any news about the chinese workbooks etc? I wasn't clear if you were selling them to me or borrowing them for the year. I'll probably need them on Mon.
Anyway, we should all get together, I havn't seen anybody in so long!
I don't think the Chinese text books I have are the ones you need, but we can meet up either on the weekend or maybe before your class at the campus and I can give them to you and you can double check to see if they're the ones you need. You can just borrow them if you want, you can write in them and stuff if you want, I don't care lol, unless you want to buy them ^^;; I can't remember the price I bought them for though, so if you want to buy them I'll have to go look up the original price so I can give you a deal on them.
I think in my other comment made when I first requested them, I had the books titles and author for you, they are all by Tao. The ones I have to by are about 20 dollars each except there is the one book that is 31 dollars. Don't know if the price went up or not. Anyway I'll probably need them when I take 1902, maybe. Is there a weekend you guys are free so I can plan to stay the weekend?
Hmm, my text books aren't by Tao. There's 3 editors; Chou Chih-p'ing, Joanne Chiang, Jianna Eagar so I don't think it's the right ones. Anyway, if you want to take a look at them just to be sure, I saw on your schedule that you sent me that on Monday you have a class from 2:30-4 before your Chinese class. I have a class from 2:30-4 as well, so if you want we can meet up after that class and I can give you the textbooks. My class is in Tabaret.
My third roommate just came back from China and the apartment's kind of messy since she's still in the process of unpacking.
Ah then they aren't the same ones then. Don't bother bringing more stuff in. Takumi said he wanted us all to meet up so he can give us all our gifts he got from Japan. I don't know if he wanted to do some sort of party or not. I'm not sure. But if we do get the apartment on Lees, we move in on the 15th so that weekend could be a possibility. I can't wait lol! I guess we shall see ^.^ Have fun on the first day of school! How is your rabbit doing in the new apartment?

20 fortunes. o_O That's quite a lot... are they all good? :)
Lol, well yeah I guess they can considered to be good, I've yet to find a fortune cookie that's had a bad fortune inside seeing as the companies probably doesn't want to offend potential customers XDD It'd actually be pretty amusing to get one that says something like "Today you will stub your toe" or something XD
