Wow,they're all very nice...I especially like the second dress *insert typical male sexual innuendo/derogatory/feminist-hating comment*...anyways, the white coat looks oddly similar to my trench *hmmm....*...well,I hope your exams are going well *congrats on the macroecon, lol (yes,I read the previous post too)*well ttyl-James
Pft, screw feminism, it's cute, who cares about all that gender politics. I love these clothes, so much more unique and pretty than the mainstream crap in the malls.
Hehe, that's where my tax returns are going to. XD
I didn't know you were into lolita! I love the style but I can't see myself wearing it out and since the clothes cost so much... I refrain from buying any XD
Lol, I just got into it like...literally 2 days ago. Actually ever since I've known there was such a thing I've really liked the outfits since they're so elegant (well...some are anyway lol) but just the other day I found and joined a comm called egl (I think it stands for Elegant Gothic Lolita) where people posted up some photos of themselves dressed in lolita gear at tea parties and meet-ups and stuff and suddenly wanted oh so much to buy at least one outfit myself.
Then through one of the posts I stumbled onto that website that sells those clothes and holy crap I went crazy, there's so much nice stuff on there!! Blouses, skirts (even though usually I don't wear skirts), dresses, jackets, omgggggggggg *O*
I agree some of them are a bit over-the-top to wear out (although I'd love to see peoples' reactions XDD I love freaking out people in public with weird stuff, like wearing cat ears and stuff...you should see the looks *snicker*) and yeah it'd leave a pretty dent in the wallet ;______; I need to win like...the cash-for-life lottery or something XDDD
It's also nice because I don't like shopping in regular malls over here. Like when I look at clothes in say...the GAP or Wal Mart or wherever, one is cuz I keep thinking of sweatshops when I step into those stores (darn politics ^^;;) and two is I keep thinking those clothes (especially in shops like GAP) are way over-priced. For these dresses, I mean $150 bucks is a pretty deep blow to the pocket for a student but if you look at the dress - the fabrics needed the work that needs to be put in - I think in comparison it's actually not a bad price. And I don't know if these dresses are made in sweatshop conditions, but since it's not like...a mainstream brand for some reason I have this idea that there's less of a chance that it's produced in a sweatshop (I think I'm going politically psycho -___-;;)
Kinda like Kaori Yuki's works espeically Count Cain...
And you need a pup and a parasol to complete the picture <3
Oh that's right! I totally forgot Count Cain's a perfect example of gothic lolita styles *O* I love her works, and I wanna get like, a little crown, a parasol, a cut little hand bag =3
I just watched Shimotsuma Story
(um, Kamikaze Girls? XD) yesterday with my friends and went totally crazy for Momoko's outfits (even though I'd never admit it in front of my friends *looks around*).
I'm totally getting myself at least one outfit when I'm filthy rich.
OOh I think I read the first volume or two of that manga, it was really cute ^O^

nooooo don't venture into this directionnnnnnnn or it'll eat your soullllllll and like egl
is such a trainwreck and....
um, yeah, i'm like 99% sure that lolita clothes are not made in sweatshops (actually i'm not so sure on F+F, they are rather cheap in prices) so you're safe politics-wise. as for the outfits, i like http://www.fanplusfriend.com/servlet/the-244/Dolly-Gothic-Lolita-cln--Cross/Detail
the best *O* it's so elegant
hey, if you go to AN again this year...you should totally come to my lolita panel *blantant advertising in hopes of gathering some support*
Waah~ I totally know what you mean >___< There's so many WTB/DS posts on there and I can't help but want to click on all the DS ones in hopes of swooping in a good deal. Yay for no sweatshops!! I've actually found a lot of these little online businesses with out-of-ordinary outfits...I think I can handle not buying from a mainstream mall for the next few years~ :D Everyone keeps saying how capitalism is so awesome because it gives competition on the markets giving consumers more choices, but since last year, i've been finding it impossible to make the choice not to participate in the commercialized markets. Now at least I can avoid the clothing markets *O*
Ah I sooooooo wish I can make it to AN this year, haven't gone to a convention for so long ;___; But I'm short on cash and time ~_____~ You're having a lolita panel?? Ooh cool!! That would be so cool to go attend, especially seeing as I'm still taking baby steps into this thing. Grrr...I wish I can gooooo....but I'll be looking forward to all those con reports and photos~!!

Lolita is very pretty. *_* But damn, they're expensive (TO MEEEEE).
You've entered my world...
Those are all really pretty, and cheap compared to what I would look at for Lolita Fashion. While very expenny, I'd recomend Baby The Stars Shine Bright. and Metamorphose for Sweet Lolita, Angelic Pretty for country Lolita and Moi Meme Moitie for Gothic Lolita ^^
If you like boys in lolita clothes, download "Princess Princess D", it's a drama based on an anime/manga. Pretty boys dressing up like princesses. It's real hot.
