|02:22 pm - Ramune|
I went to UniMart today (Asian grocery store) with my roomie, and I bought a bottle of Ramune to try. For those that don't know, Ramune is a Japanese drink where there's a marble-like ball at the opening that you have to push down in order to get the drink to come out, this is what it looks like after I've pushed the marble down:
I WANT THAT MARBLE!!! T^T
And just as I wanted to settle in for a non-political day, this news pops up on my BBC news feed:
US vetoes motion on Gaza attack
...why does the remarks "This was the second time this year the US used its veto on a draft resolution on Israeli military operations in Gaza" and "The US has a history of vetoing resolutions condemning Israel which it feels are biased against the country, says the BBC's Laura Trevelyan at the UN in New York" not surprise me? Whoever thought up of this veto idea must have had some sick twisted sense of humour.
lol i've never had ramune; how is it?? and lol about wanting the marble XDD. is it possible to get it out without breaking the bottle?
i'm sure it was the bright idea of the us, to ensure it would continue to have a
dominant secure role in spreading its hegemony over the earth in its stupid manifest destiny ensuring a us-friendly good world order and good global governance.
Well the drink itself was average, nothing too special, but the novelty of the bottle was fun and had me and my roomies gazing in awe at the thing for a good 5 minutes xD I think I'm gonna need a hammer to get that marble out D=
Yeah, probably, can't imagine any other country's diplomats being so messed up backwards as to come up with such a genius idea DX

Hee, I love those drinks. :D I'm going to hit the Asian market here and see if they carry them.
Well the bottle's fun anyway xDD
Ah... what flavour was that?
I remember my nephew nagging me about getting the marble..he used a hammer to smash it open. dangerous but it works ^^;;
This one was lychee flavoured. Yeah I was kinda hoping to get the thing out without busting the bottle, but it doesn't seem very likely, I'm either gonna need a hammer or just smash it against the window-sill xDD And there's no cap either, so I can't keep the bottle and re-use it as a water bottle to take to school
and be amused by the marble inside all class

Cool drink, lol, now I want one! But to respond to your political babbles (as I usually do), I totally agree with your conclusion. Venezuela's Chavez is vying for that security council seat, and he's vehemently opposed to US veto power in favour of Israel. Let's hope he gets something done about that. Despite whatever opinion people may have on the Palestinians, they are still people, and I think some of us are forgetting that. Regards-James

I like those things. :) Although I don't drink soda, I like to keep the bottles (my friends give me them)...
Figured out a way to get the marble out without breaking the bottle yet????

ER... it's kind of hard. o_O;; (Do you remember that Tactics episode where Haruka tried to take it out of the bottle and his finger got stuck inside? LOL!)
yeah! omg XDD I had that image in my head the whole time i was drinking my ramune, and then afterwards when i was trying to get the marble out i was like "i wanna stick my finger in there to see if i can get it out...but i don't wanna end up like harkua" XDDDDDDDDDDDDD
