|11:48 pm - Argh!!|
I'm watching this Taiwanese drama and I've discovered I really don't have patience for brainless people. The story's pretty common, klutzy, stupid girl who can't do anything right falls in love with handsome, smart, prodigy boy who's good at everything and can do anything minus flying. At first it was amusing, and she was kind of cute with her klutzy ways. Now, 25 eps into it, I find myself wanting to shove her off a tall building. She can't cook, has no tact, can't type (she's in university for chrissakes and she can't use a damn keyboard), can't keep up with conversations outside of "omg isn't he so perfect??", seriously just brainless.
I know in the end the guy'll probably go with her, but I'm really feeling for the dude right now. She is all in all, annoying, holy crap. The guy just got a matchmaking offer from the head of this big corporation to his granddaughter, and as much as I dislike arranged marriages and all that, I'm finding myself hoping against hope he'll go with the granddaughter and save himself a shitload of grief with the other one.
Seriously, klutzy, naivete, obliviousness and co. can be cute and all, but there's GOT to be a limit somewhere -__-
ne ne..What is it called?
the drama I meant. sorry.
"It started with a kiss"
Have you seen it? If so you can probably back me up on this one.
I haven't :(
But if there's a reason why I'm very picky when it comes to Taiwanese/Korean/Hongkong DRAMA series would be that too *points above*. It's too much sometimes x__x
Totally, it's like, if I was the guy, I'd be amused for a few weeks, and then it'd grit on my nerves, and the thought of spending the rest of my life with someone like that makes me shudder, ugh ~-~
I know the TV Series is fictional, but for the real world... I really think some sort of minimum IQ requirement should be established. *rolls eyes* Do you know how many idiots there are out there? There are so many people who contribute nothing towards society; all they do is sit and take, take, take. It's so disgusting.
I have the first six episodes of that somewhere. I should watch it sometime! It's so long though!
Can we shoot them? can we can we? *brandishes gun* target practice on the dummies wheeeeeeeeee~
Watch it watch it! So we can bitch together!!

Hehe! I saw that one. At first, it was cute and amusing. Then it was just irritating.
Ah you've seen it!!! Yeah so you totally get what I'm talking about, I thought that like, the chick would at least learn SOME semblence of intellect after being with the guy but so far it's not happening

That's what I thought at first. She did, after all, work really hard to get to the top of her class. I could've tolerated a not-so-smart person that was willing to work on getting ahread. But then it just...stopped. She has no self-esteem or any redeeming qualities about her for the rest of the series. I kept watching until the end hoping she'll redeem herself but it never happened.
and the way she keeps changing her own career path to follow the guy's bugs the hell out of me

EGADS. I haven't been keeping up with dramas so I have no idea. xP But yea, I agree with you on the heroine part. @_@ TOO MANY OF 'EM ARE LIKE THAT!
yeah and it also reflects even on a lot of anime, which is why i tend to hate like 99% of the females in anime ~_~

YEP. -_- Rather depressing, really. Disappointing, too. /sighs/ >_>;;
somehow that reminds me of girls in anime...
and the sad thing is that guys kinda dig that.. o____O;;;
and it reminds me of Sakurano i think? her name is ? from Prince of Tennis.. >.<;'
only exception is Tohru from FB.. she's just love XD
They do don't they? I've noticed it too, that guys tend to like the chicks that just kind of bubble around and make fools of themselves, heaven forbid you have a BRAIN and challenge them to some intellectual conversation.
Sakuno, yes omg, she's a prime example *gags* It's like she's genetically missing a backbone or something, someone needs to do an operation on her and give her a goddamned spine.
Tohru was alright, although she grated my nerves too. She's just...insanely clueless, but at least she tries her best. Even then though, I think if the series went on for much longer I'd've started making voodoo dolls of that girl.

Hahahahahaha....voodoo dolls :3
hmm yes.. guys like that type. the friendly and meek type. big assets are a plus. Orihime is one..the character Ai from Ai no Yorishi? i think it was >>;; or Chobits is one <<;; >>;; as much as it hurts to say but Usagi (Sailor Moon) was one also..>.<;;
Sakuno and her annoying friend... *shudders* with that yelling and everything...Tomo I think it was..
sorry that was me.. didn't realised i wasn't logged on (thought i was the whole time)
Which is why precisely the word, "uke" was coined. XD. Too many such character stereotypes are popping out everywhere in dramas, anime and movies. Saddening but the truth. T^^T
True, true lol, but I find it bugs me more when the chicks are like that than when the dudes are ~-~;;
For some reason, Yes. Lol. Probably because of the gender issue. I mean you seldom see "uke" male types in normal everyday life..Grins* At least that's what I think. Besides, "uke" guys are actually quite squishy sometimes. :D
