|05:32 pm - University~|
First mid-term toniiight~ It's in POL 1101, Intro to Politics, so DO MY BEST!!!
I've got so much stuff to keep in mind, and I suck at making schedules;
-read book for POL 1101 critical essay
-write POL 2108 summary for Monday
-read article for POL 2108 second paper
-start researching for DVM paper (actually choose a topic and THEN research on it, I still have to figure out how the university library works, I didn't go in at all last year)
-write Chinese project (due date of which is unknown O__o)
I'm actually finding politics and co. fairly simple. I mean memorizing dates, numbers, exact statistics is tough and tedious, but to understand just the general concepts of issues isn't so tough. Concepts like global governance, SAP programs, growth in terms of human and economics, etc. And it helps that a lot of my courses from last year and this year are beginning to overlap bringing everything together a bit more instead of just one chunk here and another piece there. It also helps that I can read the news now and apply what I've learned to start forming my own ideas, educated opinions, and the once in awhile "if I was in that position, what would I do? Which side would I be on? How would I present it so people accept it?" instead of just "they're up there making the decisions, I'm down here reading text books, no connections, back to reading".__.
I find the atmosphere at home is really...unproductive. When I'm in the classroom, or even simply on campus, I get so motivated, and I'm making plans to do all this stuff, and then once I get home I just plop in front of the PC and drift into cyberspace for hours at a time. Maybe I'll lug my sleeping bag to campus and just camp out in the library or something. Claim a little corner for myself, put my textbooks there lol.
Anyways, off I go for "Otaku time" with my French/Chinese conversation buddy (yes we named it Otaku time, quiet).
hooooooooi~!! My craptastic schedule on Tues is:
drop me a line!! oh, I'll give u my phone number since we just got it installed like..last week, then you can call or something whenever/if something comes up, i'd give u my cell number, but it's usually dead anyway XDD
613-562-2465 (if one of my roomie picks up just ask for mengya..or the insane kazuki chick, there's a guy living here too so don't be surprised if you get a guy's voice)
lol good stuff! now we have a backup communication lol. i'm thinking after your dvm class.. what say you? same deal hour and half, two hours, etc
that way you can still go home for lunch or something :).
let me know! :P
sure~!! We can meet in front of the comic book shop as usual =^-^= We still have thursday to finalize plans <3
