|08:08 pm - Photos of my Vacation|
Yoshii, here we go, the photo semi-report of my past week with Andie spent in London (Ontario, Canada). The photos aren't really in any particular order, but I tried to keep them at least grouped with each event (ie. the ones taken at the zoo are together, and ones taken at restaurants are together).
Careful, it's very very image heavy and not at all dial-up friendly.
The last time I went to the zoo was...years ago, so I was really excited to go. Especially since this time I'm going with friends and not with mom (face it, being with friends always out-funs being with parents, especially at this age). Even though it was my idea to go to the zoo in the first place, by the time we were done (actually by the time we got through the Canadian Domain which is like...halfway through the zoo) I was tired as hell.
My shoes had small heels on them and I kept tripping on my pants when the heel got stuck on the fold-up at the bottom of the pant legs which gave Andie, Nat and Mari (mostly the first two since Mari's too nice to say anything) ample opportunities to tease me that my mind was on Kazuki -__-;;
which isn't exactly untrue but that wasn't the reason I kept tripping I swear!
We stopped and watched this elephant for like...15 minutes, for some reason he/she was mesmerizing
or maybe that was just me thinking of Kazuki riding that elephant in his idol dvd *gets shot*
Kookoobura sits in the old gum tree, eating all the gum drops he can see, STOP! Kookoobura stop! Kookoobura leave some there for me~!
Lions with Ostriches in the b/g. There's actually 2 male ones, but the other one's at the bottom of that little hill so you can't see him. I love watching these large predators, even though in the zoos they're almost always just lazy-ing around.
Lynx, everytime I see one I want to tug on those little puffs of hair they have at the tip of their ears...though I'd probably lose a finger or two for that stunt.
This is an Orangutan with a baby although the picture turned out crappy and there's plastic there so you can see the reflection of someone's shirt -__-
Ahh the seals, they were so cute! This one was swimming in the water for a good 10 minutes before climbing ashore.
The big on is the male.
RAWR! The King of the large cats, the tiger! I have a special place for tigers since that's my Chinese Zodiac sign. Tigers are also seen as the King of beasts in China. This one was pacing back and forth along the cage, how I'd love to see one in the wild. It never ceases to amaze me how wonderfully Nature's built her creatures, the muscles, the strength, equipped with everything needed to survive in the wild. Too bad humans lost all of that eh?
Wallaby!! Soooo cute, you should see it hop =^-^=
This little cutie came to this planet not too long ago, s/he's sooooooo adorable. Ah baby animals are all so cavity-inducing
So, anyone who knows Andie knows she's impossible to get photos of, but I still managed some!!
Here's Andie. Here's Andie trying to escape getting photographed. So here's her hand.
Again, she's trying to get away!! So I caught half of her and Nat doing...something xD
Here's Mari. She's so cute and nice and shy. Poor girl, gotta give her credit for not taking a greyhound bus back to London halfway through the day.
Here's Mari again, like Andie, trying to escape my camera of doom!!
And finally, for the one person I didn't have to play tag with in order to get some photos. Nat!! Posing on the back of a Komodo Dragon (those things eat birds and horses!! O__o)
Once more....hey she'd make a good Jirou...fall asleep anywhere anytime xDD
Posing with the Snow Leopards.
We didn't see the real beaver since it was in hiding, so Nat took a pic with this giant one instead...
I am pro at catching people at the worst times xDD
Hanging with the Orangutans. This statue was made in memory of a real Orangutan that died after eating something some stupid people decided to throw into it's cage. The morons of the world, why must you be the majority??!
Ok, that's all from the zoo. Here's photos of other friends throughout the week.
Another sneaky pic of Andie trying to decide on what food to get (doesn't she look so studious??)
This is Nori, the girl on the left is Connie, Andie's friend. Nori is Connie's b/f. He's Japanese I believe. Connie showed him my wallet full of Kazuki photos and told him that was my b/f. I almost fell out of my chair laughing xDD
Here's Nori again, looking oh so fashionable with Connie's purse
These are Andie's co-workers, Robin's on the far right, Heather in the middle, and Andie on the left. It was Robin's last day so we all went out to eat along with Nat, Heather (Andie's sister) and another girl that I can't remember the name of. Omg, that was the most insane meal ever
Here's Nat and Andie with our waiter whom we lovingly named Spanky.....yes...you can well imagine how the rest of the night went xDD Good thing he had a great sense of humour
Here's us three stooges =^-^= I think I _just_ got my hair cut that day, so the bangs were super short
This is one of Andie's sister, Heather
This was done on the table of Jack Astor's restaurant. If you don't know what the cat's for, go watch Zukki's little video on his blog...I even bought a NekoNeko watch to commemorate Zukki's spazziness
I wonder who drew this one...hmm...no idea >__> There's a pic of Atobe too, but I forgot to take a photo ;__;
Here's me at Jack Astor's. You can use this photo to compare the new hairstyle with the old in the next set of photos =^-^= (ugh double chin, better get ready to do some work outs once I'm back in Ottawa)
All right!! As promise, I took photos today of my new cut/style. It's been a few days so the bangs are already growing a bit, but that's ok, I kind of want them to be at that in-my-eyes kind of style anyway. So, here's darling little me with my darling hair cut in a darling shirt I bought at darling ValuVillage (for those that don't know, ValuVillage is a giant used clothing store. The clothes there are inexpensive but in very good condition, I even found a shirt with the sales tag still on it! Never again am I setting foot in any other retail store).
you can sort of see the bangs and highlights here
There we go, highlights, tada~!
Aww I have bangs!! Haven't had those since I was at a single-digit age xD
My beautiful highlights, the stylist really did an awesome job with them. Not too chunky, but still clearly visible.
One more for good measure =^-^=
Now I'm just waiting for the bangs to grow a bit more so I can mess around with them a bit, you know, that tussled look those Tenimyu bois always have. But my hair grows fast so I'm guessing by the end of September at the latest it'll get there. The stylist was super nice (she's Andie's stylist too) and was explaining to me what she was doing every step of the way even though I was like "uh...I have no idea what's going on...so I'm just gonna shut my eyes and you tell me when it's safe to open them again k?"
And last but not least, I had some free time on my hands so I fiddled with photoshop on one of my photos. Wow this program works wonders. It never ceases to amaze me, behold:
Before (really shouldn't put this one here since once you see the "after" photo I look even worse in this original one)
After....omg....I WANNA LOOK LIKE THAT!!!!!! ;____;
