02:35 pm - Finalized University Schedule for 2006/2007
Ok....what happened to the "add image" button on the rich text mode to update your journal???

Well, anyway, here's the (finally) finalized schedule for me next year:

FALL SEMESTER

POL 2108:

Modern Political Thought I

DVM 2105 A:

Introduction to International Development

CHN 1901C:

Introduction to Chinese I

POL1101C

Understanding Politics

FLS2511A

Conversational French

-----------------------------------------------------------
WINTER SEMESTER

SOC 1101F:

Principles of Sociology

POL 2103E:

Introduction to International Relations and Global Politics

ANT 2151C:

Globalization: Social & Anthropological Aspects

ENV1101B:

Global Environmental Challenges

ECO 1302B:

Contemporary Macroeconomic Issues

Not too bad I guess.  First semester I've gt morning classes on Wed, Thurs, and Fri, so that leaves the rest of those days free for me to slack off, but I'm hoping I can manage to get up for those classes seeing as I am so not a morning person ;__;  Second semester rocks hard, no morning classes, PLUS 2 days off every week b^-^d

This is gonna be one heavily political semester, geez.  But I think I can manage, for all my complaining I like talking (and listening) about politics, especially internationall related issues, makes me feel like I'm actually doing something worthwhile, something that can really change people's lives.  I was told by someone that some parliamentary sessions (you know where the the politicians stand up and go "Mr. Speaker! blahlblahblah..." and the opposition party argues back and then they get into a screaming match? that's called a parliamentary session right?) and some cases held in the Supreme Court are open to public hearings, is that true??  If it is I'm so going to some of them, I mean what better way to dive head first into politics than to sit in on a hearing??

OMG I'm green with envy (makes me kinda wish I went to Ottawa for university lol)..yeah, I guess sitting in on a session of the house would be a great experience and further your understanding of the political process (be it Canadian) Funny, you and I are taking similar courses. Take care-james
