11:03 am - Any other broswer aside from IE, Firefox and Netscape?
My computer's being funky these days and for some reason everytime I use IE to sign into hotmail (my primary email account) it freezes, which then freezes my entire computer and I have to restart. In Netscape and Firefox I can sign into hotmail but I can't open any of the emails or write any emails as the page just loads forever and ever.

So, does anyone have any other browsers to recomment that I can try aside from these three??

Also, is there a way to get messages delivered to my hotmail to be forwarded to say...one of my gmail accounts? I've done it the other way around (getting a copy of the emails sent to my gmail account to be simultaneously forwarded to my hotmail account) but I don't know if it's possible from hotmail to gmail.

Ah, thank you! I looked it up and saw some great reviews, so going to install it and hopefully it'll work. Stupid hotmail and stupid IE. I looked up forwarding from hotmail and apparently you can only forward emails from hotmail to other emails that end in hotmail.com or msn.com or the microsoft family, that pisses me off so bad >O

Whee~ It works!! Thanks so much!!

Is this a laptop and does it have wireless access?

If so...

I suggest you and I meet up for coffee somewhere and I take a look at this computer.

That behaviour is not normal and something is wrong. Plus gives me an excuse to meet up. :P

Also, kitty ears finally came. :P Silly canada post.

It's the desktop that's giving me all the issues. It's definitely not normal, and it just started a few weeks ago. Initially when it first started I noticed that when I tried just opening IE or a new tab in IE it was really prone to freezing my computer, and I'd have to restart. So everytime I opened IE my heart was pounding to see if it'd freeze. That situation stopped after I upgraded my IE to version 8 but now recently it's begun freezing on hotmail x__X

Then when I had to restart my computer sometimes it'll just freeze on the 'welcome' page and I'd have to restart again. A few times I had restart 6 or 7 times before finally. Somethings definitely wonky with my computer these days, but it's not a virus since scans have showed my compy to be clean. Maybe it's just getting old or I have the HD stuffed with too much stuff.

Ah, I'm glad the ears finally arrived!! That's got a be a record or something, lol.

What anti-virus are you using?

How old is the computer?

How "full" is your hard drive?

When was the last time you did a defrag?

When was the last time your computer was formatted and started fresh?

You can try Opera, that's quite a good browser. You can have mouse gestures for it!

Thanks for the suggestion! Right now it seems GoogleChrome is functioning, but if that ever fails me I'll give Opera a try :D Always good to have more options.

It should be a problem with your cookies. Try clearing them all out, then retry with any browser...

I don't think it's just the cookies, I think it's just my computer...

I've been using this computer for about 5 years now and the problems began just a few weeks ago.
