07:53 am - Belated B-day
Thanks for the birthday wishes some of you sent my way yesterday.  Yes it was the big day yesterday, it coincided with the first day of classes for this semester, fortunately I don't have classes on Mondays this semester so I lucked out and got to sleep in on my b-day.  Didn't do anything much since most of my friends had classes to attend, but have some things planned for this coming Saturday.

I feel really...blah lately (the best description ever I know), and I think the main cause is that I don't have a job/ haven't found a good one for this summer yet.  There's always this one speed-bump that seems to cloud the mind, last year the big thing was the weight, this year it's the job, guess I better start looking.

Current Mood: blahblah

Bah, I'm sure you'd have no problem finding a job! What kinds are you looking for anyway?

I really, really, really, super really, really, super, super really want a job in the government ;____; Or some type of international organizations. No fast food chains, no retailers, no restaurants no shops and stores, I want a job that I can use the knowledge I learned. International affairs, international development, poverty reduction, environmental issues, conflict resolution, international relations, human rights, corporate issues, etc., etc. There seems to be so many of these places that are international these days but when you actually want to find a job in one of these places it's always "need more experience", "need so-and-so skill", "need that-and-that degree", grrr...

Hey~ I emailed this exact message to you, but I'll post it here too just to double the chances of you seeing it :D

I'd love to meet up on Saturday! Actually, me Jackie, Bonnie and possibly Cynthia are going to the Korean Garden for their lunch buffet (I don't remember if you've ever been there, but it's a Korean restaurant on Rideau St. really close to where me, Jackie and Angela lived last year), it'd be great if you can come along!! Our reservations are at 11am under my name. If you decide to come, you can either come over to my place first and me, you and Bonnie can walk over together or you can meet me and Bonnie on campus somewhere, or just meet us at the restaurant at 11am Saturday morning.

If you don't feel like coming that's ok too, Jackie, Cat and possibly Cynthia are coming to my place after lunch for cake and to just hang out, so you can come join us then if you want to skip the lunch (Cat's not coming to lunch because she's been kind of sick and can't eat a lot of the oily food of the buffet). It's actually Cynthia's birthday on the 13th so we planned it as sort of a celebration for both my birthday and her's (except she lives all the way in Orleans plus she's got her job so she has to see if she can even make it here ;___;). Anyway, let me know which works best for you~
