After watching that documentary again, I have once more re-confirmed my hatred for a) Capitalism and b) Corporations.  Who came up with this brilliant idea to create a system where profit, money, the bottom line is at the forefront of ANY incentives?  Who created this system that placed human lives, animal lives, plant lives, environment, future generations, humanity, morals, ethics, the EARTH below this thing called money?

I hate Capitalism.  Period.  You can lay down all your excuses as to why it should and is accepted in todays' world.  You can point out all the ways that I've come to rely on it.  Bottom line; I hate Capitalism, and I hate it even more that it's so entrenched in this place that I can't get out when I want to.

I want to live in a world where humanity is the rule.  A world where there are basic human principles that are just simply NOT crossed.  A world where there are things that are simply too sacred to place a price tag on them.  A world where I can look anyone in the eye and see that he or she has within him or her, morals and ethics that will prevent him or her from doing certain things.  Maybe in the next life, maybe in an alternate galaxy, maybe in another universe, such a place exists.

How do you reason with the people on this planet who, as long as they get money, they'll do anything?  Killing, raping, stealing, plundering, manipulating, lying, cheating, exploiting, destroying, polluting, testing, torturing what haven't they done?  How do you possibly expect them to understand the logic that some things simply CANNOT CANNOT CANNOT be priced?  And how scary is it, that in this world, everything has a price tag to it?  Right down to our DNA.  Companies are patenting our very DNA, the very blueprint that makes us who we are, the very basics of life itself, is being claimed and owned by companies so they can make a profit.

Water, air, Earth, life, everything has a price...and in their eyes, you and I are no different than a pair of pants and shirt, only valuable because we can bring them profit...how scary has this world become, for us, for our children, for their children, and into the future.  What kind of a legacy are we leaving them?  Has there ever been any other generation in the history of human beings that has left such a cruel and deterioating planet for their children?

O_O!!!

WELL, this may be off topic, but I hate how we're all numbers now. We're not names. We're NUMBERS for those up the ladder to keep track off. Even in school, we're just numbers. -_-;;

Yeah, you didn't know?? It has been made legal that companies can pantent any living organism as long as it's not a full grown human being. And you want to know how that verdict came about? It's cuz the stupid judge of that case didn't understand basic biology and thought that the bacteria the General Electric wanted to patent looked more like a chemical than a living organism. So basically, because he/she couldn't see antennas and eyes on this thing, he/she said it's ok to patent it. How fucking retarded is that?!
