12:32 pm - House of Commons Debates
Watching the webcast of the House of Commons Debates (live)...my eyes are literally starting to spin due to confusion.  So many political terms, so much round-a-bout phrasing for one little thing, I mean I understand the need for political correctness...but watching this I'm wondering if maybe we've taken it a step too far...

No wonder politicians never get anything done in the government and at conferences and conventions, they're too busy explaining and re-explaining themselves for fear that one wrong word will cause a rebellion or something.  I've got a looooooooong way to go if I want to understand all the stuff they're saying xDD  Freaks me out that one day I might start spouting that stuff....

[EDIT]:  Oh I got it!!  They're debating whether Canada should adopt America's election system of having a set date for elections (ie. in the USA it's every 4 years, right now in Canada, it's whenever the Prime Minister decides to call one).  Wow this debate's suppose to go on for 8 hours....holy crap.

ah that sounds like fun....

although I would agree with how can they find the way to get through anything??? As I remember watching one session and pretty much of it consisted either disagreeing with each other or interupping when others were talking... >.<;;
